Summer Tours in Iceland

Tours depart 15 May – 15 September

With a wide range of active day tours and multi-day adventures to choose from, the summer season in Iceland offers a wealth of opportunities for those wishing to actively experience the country’s great outdoors.

What better way to maximise the long days under the midnight sun than to join expert guides in a thrilling adventure or two… or three or four! With river rafting, glacier hiking, lava caving, self drive super jeep tours and even diving to name just a few, whether you are travelling over a long weekend or enjoying a couple of weeks self drive touring, there are so many things to do in Iceland.

All of our best selling tours have guaranteed departure dates during the summer season making it easier for you to plan your time in Iceland. And if these dates don’t fit your plans, we can run most tours on a day that suits you, so long as there are four participants or more.

With so many activities to choose from, some of our more popular day tours are offered as a part of combination packages, or 'combi tours' and are often incorporated into multi-day holidays for those with more time.

Broadly speaking the summer season starts in May and continues throughout August, while the winter season operates from mid September until April.
